I honestly don't thing they give a fukk.

I work with a Trump tard senior who is scared to death of covid, wears masks and gloves. But he still supports a man who don't give a fukk if he catches it and dies. I overheard him bragging how he voted Red. :gucci:
The crazy ones don’t. The ones getting stranded at rally’s and praying to god trump:mjlol: are too far gone.

The “normal” republicans are who I’m talking about.

But also that guy in question could be just putting on his cac face in public:ehh:

This is what worries me a little bit. It has been noted by many reports that WI,MI,and PA ironically will not count all the votes by election night. It's not FL or NC that are already counting early voting ballots right now. So we may not know the true results of till the end of next week. This is where the idea of the red mirage comes from. Dems are voting by mail and absentee ballots in larger numbers because of covid. Meanwhile the Trumptards don't believe in science and will come out on force on Election Day to vote in person. In other words it may look like Trump is winning PA,WI,and MI because they will count the Election Day tallies then will count the mail in votes after. The governors of these states are Dems but their hands are tied by state Republican legislatures who would vote down any law to allow early counting of the vote. This is why its imperative that Biden wins Florida and NC to dead any potential election fukkery. Because if it looks like Trump is leading in WI,MI and PA by election night he will demand them to stop counting votes and we will have serious constitutional crisis in our hands. And lets not even get into the whole ploy of state electors. The good news is that the Biden camps knows this and hence why they are going hard in Florida,North Carolina and Georgia. If they win two out of the three this will blunt any Trump attempt to steal the election.

:damn::damn::damn: Stop saying shyt that is realistic but I don't wanna hear

Uncertain grounds
question: how has voter turnout correlated with unemployment historically? :jbhmm:

edit:
In sum, the data supports my hypothesis that unemployment promotes political mobilization when the unemployment rate is high and results in political withdrawal when it is low. In general, unemployed Americans’ political behavior is meaningfully influenced by unemployment context to an extent that we do not observe among gainfully employed Americans. This is true whethercwe examine unemployment using either a very broad and externally validcapproach or a very narrow and internally valid approach.

interesting info on how long it will take to get results in states on or after election night

something to keep in mind: of the swing states, seems like the following should have a good amount of results night of
- Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas

Wisconsin may have a lot of results, but seems like they won’t be really complete until following day...

the following seem will likely take some time (days after) to get early vote results counted:
- Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada
- of which we should expect the votes counted on election night to be more trump leaning compared to the early votes that may come in after election night

people should set expectations up accordingly

what’s interesting is that there are several states on election night that if they come up biden, we could have a strong sense that it’s a wrap (Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Iowa, Ohio)

The issue is our media has not trained Americans to wait for election results. I am still stunned people are focusing so hard on election night coverage and looking to celebrate when we won't know anything decisive until Friday at the earliest.

Believe I said this somewhere earlier in this thread, but if Biden gets 44 electoral votes from that combo you listed (Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Iowa, Ohio) and holds every other state Hillary won in 2016 (Nevada is probably going to Biden but let's assume the result isn't known on 11/3 due to mail in votes. Same for NE-1 and Maine's district that went to Trump in 2016 that might go to Biden this time around), he's won the election no matter what eventually transpires in MI, WI, and PA.
