Yeah, there will be a return to normal with anyone other than 45 at the helm. Unless its a 45 flunkie. However once the people get a taste of the Blue lifestyle, you have to have a candidate dominating legislation to keep them. Make them feel part of the "winning team". Expand courts, eliminate filibuster, get the stimulus out immediately - make those "new blues" feel like they helped save America and they might stay.
