My girl and I early voted today in Brooklyn. Was a long line of people. It’s crazy that this is the first time in NY history we have early voting. This needs to happen in every election local and state from now on.
Yeah, I live in Brooklyn too. My mother was going to early vote today but she said that the line was really long and instead will try again tomorrow. That's incredible because our voting precinct/neighborhood is not a high turnout area. This election is going to have historic turnout and it's NOT going to be favorable to Trump.

Trump has awoken a beast! :wow: :whew:

Wild that NY hasn’t had early voting before now
Republicans controlled the New York State Senate (upper house of the NY state legislature) for most of the past 75 years (because most of Upstate NY and some parts of Long Island are very conservative/Republican). Of course, Republicans in the State Senate blocked most of the progressive and meaningful legislation along the way. Democrats have controlled the New York State Assembly (lower house of the NY state legislature) for decades.

Also, some DINOs joined together with Republicans to allow control them to control State Senate from 2011-2018. Those DINOs were mostly voted out in 2018 and finally Democrats gained control of the State Senate giving Democrats the governmental trifecta. Democrats were finally able to pass early voting into effect last year.

Finally watched that 60 Minutes interview. Trump must really hate strong women.

There was literally nothing in that interview that was any tougher or more pressing than the Chris Wallace or Axios interviews.
Two things:

A woman

Time factor. He knew that was going to be his last appearance on National TV that isn’t a Fox News outlet and the majority of topics are negative.

And Dems are poised to have a supermajority in Albany which means even if Cuomo vetos some progressive legislation they can over rule him. Hopefully they can make early voting a major thing from now on. This will help Dems hold power in the state and local level to pass meaningful reform.
