Montana is less religious/Evangelical/Mormon than surrounding states. Also, Montana has the highest labor unionization rate in the mountain west region.

Montana is more politically libertarian and very pro-2A (guns) because Montana is rural and sparsely populated. If the national Democratic Party was more pro-2A, Democrats would do much better in Montana presidentially. However, moderate/centrist Democrats like Jon Tester and Steve Bullock are able win downballot.

Bullock will lose by a couple of points while McGrath spends 100M+ to lose by double digits in KY. I agree with you, Montana is winnable with Dems. I hate how little national support Bullock has received.

I dont care about the polls. I just want everyone to vote. I assume all white people are going to vote for Trump. I dont trust any of them. So any poll I see, I just add points in my head for Trump because I dont think most people will admit to voting for him even to people they dont know over the phone. They feel the shame but think preserving whiteness is just more important.
