Fox doesn’t speak to the broader electorate. This was his opportunity to state his final case and he’s clearly made a mess of it.

We can safely assume that:
CBS will start promoting this Friday so whatever happens during the debate is likely going to be quickly washed out of the cycle. That promo will run all weekend during college and NFL football.
Monday and some of Tuesday will be the pundit fall out unless he does something else.
