There’s something disingenuous about liberals having nothing to say about massive outdoors anti-GOP protests (for instance the ones this week against the SC nom) while attacking Trump’s outdoors rallies. If you want people to stop having large outdoors gatherings then be consistent.

You don’t see a difference between citizen-led protests against police brutality where everyone is wearing masks, and the “president” holding racist campaign rallies filled with people who don’t even believe covid is real? The guy has downplayed the virus at every step, even after getting it himself, and he’s putting people in harm’s way. You won’t find one left/liberal protest where the vast majority of people aren’t wearing masks.

The most disgusting part to me is all the republicans jumping ship like a bunch of rats now that they know trump is heading for an embarrassing defeat. Rats typically don’t cause the ship to go down in the first place though so I’d put them lower than that.

They used Trump. I kinda wonder how he’d feel if he heard someone make this argument on Fox. Would he agree now that he’s seeing people jump off the ship, or is he too much of a narcissist to believe they don’t love him?

They used him as a heat shield. He took all the attacks while the party marched on, allowing him to do/say crazy shyt while they kept the eye on the ball: judges and taxes. That’s all they care about. And dismantling parts of government. Now they’re about to get a 6-3 majority on the court. When/if Trump loses they’re going to say they disliked his leadership and throw him under the bus. Some will say they liked when he focused on important issues but hated how he got distracted with nonsense. Others will hail him as the greatest GOP president.
