Went to college outside of New Haven and haven’t had an urge to go back to that state since I graduated. Cost of living way too high for no reason. You basically pay the cost of living in NYC with none of the perks

Only like 3-4 of our friends from school stayed in the state after we graduated. The rest of us said

COL is high..specifically in the cities. It's not terrible where I am (hartford suburb). But yes the state is poorly managed and basically everyone I grew up with has bounced
