I wouldn't answer it either. I'd say we'll cross that bridge when we get to it and I'm not planning hypothetically on what happens if the Dems take the senate.
I would also do this and also maybe make a slight hint that this is actually a threat depending on how the Senate handles the upcoming supreme court appointment.

Trump is nothing to fear. Last time he had the luxury of running against the most unpopular candidate in US presidential election history had the assistance of a foreign government and still barely managed a win by under 80K votes. The guy is an incompetent fool that completely operates off pure impulse and can't follow a plan or strategy to save his life. He's a 74 year old man-child. I get that people are spooked because they thought he'd lose last time and Biden isn't that good of a candidate but he's nowhere near as hated as Clinton was. All he has to do is mostly keep quiet and project a level of semi-competence and he's got this in the bag.
