As someone who has been interning at a firm where I come into contact with big $$$ a lot.
Back in June they said prominent GOP affiliates have diverted fundraising to senate elections

then trumps fun raising #’s came out...

I believe this wholeheartedly. Trump was already in a shaky position barring mass voter suppression. He's done now. He's put a bunch of GOP stalwarts at risk and even if he recovers, we don't know what kind of long-term health effects he'll have for the rest of his presidency and life.

The GOP's best course of action is to get ACB confirmed, hope they can keep enough senate seats to stop the Dems from packing the court (which shouldn't even be that many since a lot of the Dems didn't want to do it anyway), and try to groom somebody else for 2024.

You even see that in Mitch McConnell's tweet: "Yeah, Trump is ok, but fukk him, let's talk about confirming ACB."
