 Don't you start this goofy sh*t again.
ill say it again :yeshrug:

if you can go to the grocery story, you can vote in person. in the majority of the country

scust at encouraging healthy 30 year olds to vote by mail. that's incredibly fukking stupid given how bad the republicans are cheating and suppressing mail voting

I agree with your premise.

It is becoming clearer to me that this was going to be a very sensitive election that required a specific type of candidate to overcome the sheer amount of white people that are still on code with Trump after four years. Biden is safe, Biden is known, Biden has the temperament for the moment. It's why Biden has stayed relatively clean despite a year of mudslinging from the other side. Running an unabashed brazen Socialist in this environment where the streets are literally on fire would have been an unmitigated disaster. I hope Bernie's followers can be objective and acknowledge this. Ask yourself if Bernie was the nominee what would the numbers with suburban women and Independents look like right now? What would the numbers with seniors and Latinos look like in Florida? The "home turf" advantage in Pennsylvania that Biden is currently a benefactor of wouldn't exist. There would be no Lincoln Project. The corporate media would undoubtedly in Trump's pocket. Firebrand campaign speeches from AOC and Ilhan Omar would be aired live on Fox News every day. Think about that for a second. :wow:

We should get on our knees and kiss the feet of those older black voters in South Carolina. Their wisdom and prudence literally saved the country.
I think you're right overall that Biden is the candidate who would run up the score the most, but I think all of the major Democratic nominees could have beaten Trump. And I take issue with the bolded. Biden has stayed "relatively clean" because he's an old white man promising to perpetuate the status quo in a white supremacist patriarchy, not because of some unique skill he possesses. The "temperament for the moment" is having a dikk and being a paleskin. Biden has committed far more "fatal" mistakes than Hillary or Warren or Bernie, he has more skeletons in his closet than all the other Dem candidates, they just didn't stick because old white men aren't held accountable for their fukkups in this country. He's gonna fail upwards into the Presidency. Power is assumed to be white men's birthright, so they have to prove why they shouldn't have it as opposed to marginalized identities having to prove why they should.

I'm really kind of torn on this.

I'll probably vote in person, but I'm not so sure about encouraging my older relatives to. I'd feel bad if an elderly relative caught Covid voting in person.

I have no doubt there's going to be a lot of cheating going on tho. They're going to be throwing ballots out for all kinds of BS reasons.
I’ve been going back and forth since I’m in Michigan. Do I want the paper trail of voting from home or do I want to limit the Election Day Trump fukkery as much as possible and vote in person :wow:

Stop it. Biden is hardly a change agent. He's the vehicle to get trump out, nothing more. Right now I've zero plan to keep ACB off the court from him and Schumer. Nothing about 2 extra states.
I never said Biden was a "change agent" :gucci:.

Y'all really need to stop extrapolating my statements, damn :dwillhuh:

I don’t. At all.

Trump built his campaign message and the whole Trump apparatus to run against “leftist radicals”, not Joe Biden.

He got impeached trying to take Biden out because he knew his internals vs him were super shytty. He didn’t go to near the lengths with anyone else because he didn’t view them as legit threats. Trump has no messaging to really hit him on and Biden for the most part has been disciplined enough not to play Trump's game.

You’re right about Joe having an advantage being an old white man but thats exactly why he’s the person for this election and this one only. :yeshrug:

The country is center/left. That's why larger turnover is good for Dems, bad for the GOP. Problem is many who consider themselves left are also apathetic or fall victim to the "don't vote" bullshyt etc..

The GOP never worries about their people coming out. Racism doesn't take a day off.
Racism or youth finding every excuse not to vote? Sounds like both.

You guys need to stop being scared of the electorate. You need to prevent this stuff. If tom cotton wins in 2024, it was all for naught. If the country is scared of AOC, they deserve what they get.
