The fact the US Attorney for the eastern district of Pennsylvania authorized and directed a press release about some bizarre "discarded ballots" is not a good sign. That's partisan influence in the Justice Department for battleground states. There's only so much they can do, because local authorities handle the election process.

Dems need to have an organized detailed plan to deal with the scenario that Trump attempts to steal the election. They need to organize with union, activist etc to organize a national strike to pressure the shyt out of Trump to step down. If the economy worsens so be it. They need to plan for the worst and hope for the best.

Also, in 2016, there was the widespread assumption that most of the undecided voters (which was really high) would at the end of the day vote for Hillary. Most media pundits and most Democrats thought that there was NO WAY that most undecided voters would vote for Trump. We had "confidence" that most Americans would see through Trump's bullsh!t.
Obviously, that was proven wrong. Additionally, Hillary's unpopularity didn't help her either. It's a different ballgame this time around though.
