I can buy that for the Latino vote, but the Black vote seems a bit high ...
Nah, man. Beto O'Rourke got 70% of the Texas Latino vote in 2018. Trump got 16-18% of the Latino vote in Texas in 2016.

You think that Trump has gained an over 25% increase among Texas Latino voters in 4 years? :patrice:

They only have been absentee voting for a week lol. "worrisome sign". Also, many Dem voters are going to be voting early and in-person.

Not everybody in Waukesha County is a Republican/Trump voter either (especially if they are absentee voting).
I think they were assuming Dems would be dominating absentee voting since Dems have taken the pandemic a lot more seriously than republicans, and Republicans seem to want in-person voting. If Republicans are winning in absentee voting it probably is a "bit worrisome". Remember, 2 years of Trump was thought to cause a blue wave all throughout midterms and while dems flipped the house, Republicans actually increased their Senate majority. 45 is one of the worst humans ever but he keeps his base energized. IDGAF what the polls say, this is not gonna be some 350-400 electoral college boom for Biden. America is far too racist for that. This is gonna be a close call and it's important every decent human being votes blue.

Governor Abbott won 45% of the Latino vote but that still seems too high for Trump
Trump is not Abbott though. Beto got 90% of the Black Texan vote and 70% of Hispanic Texan vote in 2018. Biden is definitely matching or exceeding those numbers.

The 2018 Senate map was a very favorable map for Republicans. There was more Democratic incumbents up for re-election and many of them were in states Trump won. Even with all of that, they only gained a net of 2 seats (would have only been 1 if it wasn't for typical Florida f*ckery). The GOP also lost a Senate seat in a typically reliable Republican state (Arizona).

Democrats won the House popular vote by the largest margin in 44 years and midterm turnout was the highest in over a century. Most Americans don't rock with Trump and the GOP.

The Texas crosstabs are weird. They have Trump winning 19% of the Black vote and 43% of the Latino vote in TX :patrice:

yall keep wanting to deny this

i've been saying theres a black male problem issue/concern with democrats for a LONG time now.

The Trump campaign has legit floated they could walk away with 30% of the black vote. For them to even throw those numbers out is insane.

But that didn't fit with the outrage is all i'm saying. It should have been an absolute wipeout across congress. A Dem senator somehow won the seat before Trump, and was turned red after 2 years of witnessing Trump.

The house flip was a great signal though. Most Americans never liked Trump but he won presidency and has a good shot at re-election. You know how incumbents have the edge anyway. I hope it's a blue tsunami but I just don't see it. It should be a 20 point margin after these 4 years but you know how 'murica rolls.

I think i have 290 votes for Biden if all goes well. That's all he needs but those "non-college educated white" voter registration numbers are troubling.

Biden has done a pretty good job on the trail. He might be in debate prep mode. He's not gonna out-campaign Trump no matter what. Trump doesn't study, think about policy, follow the constitution or anything. All he does is tweet, sign EOs and campaign.
