I honestly think his thirst for power and control outweighs his political acumen and with Trump applying pressure, he can’t resist it. And it’s going to turn the tide politically in a way you’ve never seen.

You’re not going to get any evangelical conservatives, Trumpists or corporatists to come over, but you’re going have a lot of Biden haters and far-left non-voters have a come to Jesus meeting. This is for real now. Anyone standing on their soapbox now is going to realize there is no chance in hell that what they want will ever stand with The Supreme Court 6-3 in favors of not just conservatives, but with a fascist, a sexual predator/compulsive gambler, and whatever miscreant Trump places upon the court.

The only problem is if Mitch does it and Biden (when he wins) doesn’t stack the court in response, the Dems lose the next 20 years regardless because it means they won’t fight.
