They gave the Navajo artist the same last name (Bitsui) as the actor who plays Victor

I'm probably late on this but this guy was in Natural Born Killers as a kid in the scene where Mickey and Mallery get lost in the desert and find their way to the Native vet's house.

"You're the worst lawyer ever!"

"I just talked you down from a death sentence to 6 months probation.....I'm the BEST lawyer ever."

With Lalo locked up, there may be a scene with Lalo and Tuco having a conversation....assuming Tuco is still awaiting trial.

Also, if Lalo dies, his death may be the reason Tuco became a full blown meth addicted loco during the BB era.

All things point to Lalo being set-up by Jimmy, under orders from Gus but we have that scene where Gus tells Hector that all his family is dead. I'm really curious where are they going with the Lalo story.

Maybe Jimmy will do a good job and free him just for Gus to murk him?

I been in TLR all day discussing this pandemic shyt, so I haven't watched the latest ep yet.

But I did notice something cool.

Was watching an earlier ep (season 3, episode 2 "Witness") and the scene where Mike is trailing Gus's goons and checking out their dead drops....they show the dead drop from 2 weeks ago, in the culvert.

Was some cool foreshadowing.

Fred.

Toxic relationship 101

Toxic for sure, because they aren't good for each other. But at least they don't make up and break up every other month like a lot of toxic couples. And they aren't abusive towards each other. IMO Kim is just deeply attracted to the part of Jimmy's personality that is dangerous for her; her career, her future, and possibly her life depending on Jimmy being tied up with the Salamancas.

I'm tempted to say it's less of a toxic relationship and more just...a dangerous relationship? :jbhmm:Because Jimmy is all the way in the life and has the street smarts to handle it. Kim is halfway about that life and doesn't have the street smarts to back it. That'll be her potential downfall.

They really do love each other, and it's tragic because if only a few circumstances were different, they could be very happy together without any hiccups.

EDIT: I mean clearly there are toxic aspects to their relationship, but I do think it's grounded in a deep love for each others' authentic selves. They know who each other are down to the core, and they accept each other, for both the good and the bad. I think that's very admirable. Which is going to make it all the more tragic when it ends. Jimmy is just too self-destructive, and Kim can't help herself.

I can’t be the only one who didn’t like the marriage thing. Came out of nowhere. :patrice:
Liking it and buying it are two different things, at least to me.

I definitely bought it. Jimmy is more of a pre-plan things out guy. Kim keeps proving herself to be more and more impulsive and reckless with every season. She was ready to end the relationship, but she's addicted to it, she loves Jimmy, and in her mind the only way to rationalize staying together was to get married.

I mean we all know people (1st or 2nd hand) that get married to fix major problems in a relationship. It's one of the worst reasons to get married, but people do it all the time. Things are broken? Lets' get married. We had a kid we didn't plan for? fukk it let's get married. You cheated on me and promise you won't do it again? Okay, prove it. Let's get married.

As for whether or not I like it? I dunno. I'm willing to see where they go with it. If it turns out to be a cheap way to heighten the stakes so that it will be more sad and tragic when their relationship ends, then I may end up thinking it was dumb. If they're going into other directions with it, it could end up being fine.
