I honestly think other people will open that can of worms and hopefully they stop handling folks with kid gloves. It's cuz of these insane people that act like he went for the jugular against Hillary. It's wild early so I hope they'll adjust accordingly. I think Warren and some other candidates will make him and his team realize they gotta stop playing it safe. It's not dividing shyt.
All of the loudest ppl with huge platforms such as MSNBC or celebrity activists who are saying dumb shyt like taking a pledge to not criticize Democrats are creating these narratives. It's funny cuz they also "attacked him" by playing the victim when ppl clapped back at them shielding folks from criticism. They have to run through the bullshyt they put up not simply counter it.

Some of the biggest highlights of his career are voicing a strong opposition to things that he was voting for, and voicing a strong opposition to things that were passing anyway.In all seriousness, the problem with the actual campaign going negative is that I am almost 100% sure that every other campaign is willing to get dirtier and go more negative than Bernie is willing to go. Do Bernie and his team think that highlighting policy differences in a polite manner is going to get them to the finish line?

Gotta just be real about this, Bernie's Comms team is in a perpetual lose lose. If Bernie attacks, he's dividing the party and if he doesn't then he's being to cautious. If he's polling strong, they'll just screw up the numbers or the the visualization will be broken or they'll just throw in a control that skews the data. There are aspects of Bernie's campaign I'm frustrated with, but he's also getting dog piled. Pete Buttigieg and Beto O'Rourke are saying literally nothing specific, but Warren's campaign is only used to attack Bernie by the Vox team. He's still fighting an uphill battle and getting dragged for things that no other candidate would.
