Lol

This is perfect.

:russ:

"Live in New Hampshire, we have Game 2 of the Democratic Primary Finals. Marv Alberts here with Doug Collins. Team Bernie Sanders coming off a tough loss in Iowa to Team Buttigieg. Controversy surrounding the win as replay cleary showed Buttigieg's last second shot not only missing the basket completely, but released a good 12 seconds after time expired while his foot was on the line. Still however for some reason the refs inexplicably awarded him 3 points for the missed attempt, along with a 2-point victory, and declared the play ineligible for review as they ran off the court to a chorus of boos from the Iowa faithful in attendance.

Undaunted, Team Sanders looks to bounce back with a strong showing here this evening.

Tonights referees in attendance are veteran officials Tom Perez, Hillary Clinton, and Chris Matthews. :lolbron:"

How about this

"Throughout this Democratic Primary of uncertainty. There was one thing that was certain. The Clinton's reign was over. Therefore, the focus of the Democrats' leading stars became crystal clear: earn the crown that has eluded them. But as the primaries progressed, most were left to reflect on a missed opportunity.

(flash the dropped out candidates)

Still, one denied star managed to shine. A celebrated socialist is moments away from leading his bros into battle. It's the 2nd trip to the Dem primary finals for Bernie Sanders. Will the special forces surrounding the Senator continue to torment his opponents? Two consecutive primary wins makes him the prohibitive favorite and moves Sanders that much closer to the nomination he covets. :obama:

Uncertainty defined Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar's primary season. But turmoil and lackluster results by Biden and Warren have given way to spectacular achievement and moderate acrimony :mjlol:. When this unconventional collection of centrists lost their leader, they never lost heart. Instead it inspired them to last second heroics and peak performances that have the skeptics asking and voters begging, 'can the midwesterners do it again?"

The window of opportunity is now. But who will persevere through the uncertainty and pressure of a Democratic nomination. This much is certain, the Nevada caucuses and South Carolina primary ARE NEXT."

I wondered to myself why I felt that way after I posted the reply...

It dawned on me that I'm just not comfortable with her in 2024.

The plan is to choose a successor that can continue what Bernie is trying to build. I don't see her winning the general election 4 years from now.

We need a VP that can win in 2024
Honest take but I think shes the missing piece to the puzzle when it comes to black outreach especially the older church black folks. If you want to play it safe Ro Khanna might be the safest bet.

On the Bernie subreddit, a Nevadan posted this:

Honestly a lot of the culinary union workers don't even associate to American culture. I have at least 20 relatives in that union. Not one has ever voted. People just go do their job, get paid, and go home to their families. This is Las Vegas...we're not allowed to get political, because it costs us money.

Pasted from another response but this is how I feel:

I think we have a good chance to win. People are really rallying around Bernie right now. Nevada polls have always sucked so I honestly can't tell that well. I'll give you my predictions:

I think Pete and Amy will do abysmal. Both of their campaigns in Nevada basically start today. They did not invest in Nevada early. I heard Pete has 20 employees flying here now. Las Vegas is a city of almost 3 million and most are caucusing in 4 days because we have early caucusing. It's too late to get something off the ground.

This is a very heavy name recognition state, and other than Biden and Bernie, the rest of the field is pretty unknown. We voted for Hilary, Obama, Bushes, Clinton, and just about every other winner. There's a reason Nevada almost never gets presidential elections wrong and that's because people always pick the favorites. In this case right now, that's Bernie.

Joe has the 65+ crowed LOCKED DOWN. Nevada LOVED Obama. A lot of older voters want more of that. I think this is goodbye to Warren. It will reveal her shortcoming with POC, especially hispanics. Her base is educated white women and radical feminists that just need to see any woman as the president and there aren't many here.

Bernie's success will come down to the youth and minority vote. That's all I can tell you. Everyone here HATES Tom Steyer's ads. You cannot live your life without seeing them. He is a hated man from all sides.

Popular vote-wise I could easily see Bernie and Joe in a virtual tie splitting around 70%, while Warren gets 9%-13%, Pete gets 15% and Amy goes single digits.

Midwestern hospitality doesn't mean shyt in Nevada. Neither do identity politics. Kinda want to see how good or bad I predict compared to real results haha
