This is one of the best Benjamin Dixon episodes in a long time.
Main bits
1. Why he was confident that AOC was gonna endorse Bernie all along and a clip from the debates displaying why Ben himself chooses Bernie over Warren (but he also states, don't alienate the Warren supporters).
2. Why he views Tulsi as problematic
3. Selling Bernie to your friends and fam by being nicer about the sell rather than hostile
4. A close out about the troll farms and being mindful of everything messing with the process for all parties involved.

I feel like Ben gets slept on a bit.

Warren is literally a watered down open to corruption version of Bernie who is legitimately a liar, lies about being fired for being pregnant when she actually resigned, lied about being native American, routinely flip flops on issues like taking pac and corporate money etc. She voted to give Trump his massive department of defense budget in 2018 (guess who voted no?). Her daughter is a lobbyist for the Healthcare industry and one of her top donors is kaiser. She goes to dinner at Martha's vineyard with big bank executives and Wallstreet execs. She has a public position and a private one. Imagine supporting a corruptable charlatan liar.

this tulsi/hillary slapfight feels like a well-timed distraction from Bernie's record-setting rally :jbhmm:

tulsi ain't a threat to hillary in any way. why lash out at her at this time? :jbhmm:

and notice the media was very happy to make this a big story while pretending Bernie doesn't exist. :jbhmm:

All I said was don't alienate Warren supporters...

AOC talks about a key point regarding polling at 5:25. It's gonna be great day when Bernie shocks everyone and wins Iowa.

Ryan Grim hit this same note in that clip you linked in the Primary thread and it really speaks to why the polls potentially aren't telling the whole story with Bernie specifically (and also why they don't match his donor or volunteer figures). I've mentioned it a few times, Bernie's strategy is to turn out voters that pollsters typically don't count as strongly or look to as often.

I don't really promote my podcast around here. Some topics are higher learning relevant but it's a mix of pop culture and ish like that too. However, I wanted to drop this one for yall because if you skip to an hour in we talk about the Bernie Sanders rally with myself, my brother and two friends that attended fresh from getting back from the show (so the memories were fresh). It takes you through the day we spent at the rally with perspective from two hardcore politics heads (myself and my brother) plus one dude that watches news but isn't as deep as us (Roman) and then another head who doesn't really pay close attention on the politics tip (Jhan Boom). So you've got reactions from people that have different levels of knowledge...sidenote: the Afterhours is typically unstructured and after we get lit, so bare with me.

First hour also has some political topics but it's more humor than knowledge dropping. The actual show model is to try and get our friends and fam pulled in with the pop stuff and the jokes, then sneak them political topics like how history class BS'ed us on Columbus or Zuckerberg not bothering to fight misinformation after meals with conservatives (both touched on in that first hour of this episode). We've had some other good ones before though, I've gone serious on immigration and Puerto Rico in past episodes. Eventually I wanna do a pure political show straightening out what lefties are saying vs how their messages are portrayed in media (Your Other Left).

Sorry I went off in your direction lol I feel like educating them on why she isn't better than Bernie immediately alienates them as they have made up their mind already.

:salute:respect fam. I see where you're coming from but I think in general, discussions with Warren heads are easier handled by focusing on policy strategies. They're the "I have a plan for that" crew, so I think the easiest way to relate to each other and recruit 'em is to speak on what our goals and why we feel Bernie's plan is better. That's where their biggest concerns are (and why I think they're less concerned with some of the peripheral stuff that I think Trump and his supporters will hone in on for sure).
