The Las Vegas Film Critics Society is the latest regional critics group to unveil award winners for 2014. It was "Birdman" that came away the biggest hit with seven awards, including Best Picture. And for the second time today, a critics group has totally shut Richard Linklater's "Boyhood" out. I'm beginning to wonder if that's a reaction to widespread acclaim, but maybe not; after all, it's #2 on the Las Vegas critics' top 10 list. Just an interesting note.
Check out the full list of winners below and, you know, The Circuit.

Norton won't win...everyone is saying Simmons wins supporting actor by a landslide; but Birdman will take all of Foxcatcher's awards

if Boyhood had waited to come out later, it would be a great showdown, but by the time the awards come out, Birdman will be a lot fresher because its so new...that's what hurt Fruitvale Station's Michael B. Jordan from getting nominated...

Plus, Boyhood was a good movie, but it was not half as good as Birdman..Birdman was so shockingly good, I didn't want it to end; it was the most original film I'd seen in years...I liked Carell in Foxcatcher too, but Keaton has too much steam to lose this award now

Ehh....I don't know about that...its really good, but Godfather? 2001? They are just going crazy over how it was filmed over a decade; But if Boyhood does win over Birdman, I would be very, very surprised
