That entire scene gave me a sense of dread and anxiety. It was such an impossible situation to be alone in and she batted her way through that shyt, solo.

The whole situation was compounded by the fact that it was treachery afoot when dude did her like that.

I was heated. Maybe Zack Snyder can bullshyt her back into the plot some kind of way in a sequel. With all the talks of Time loops and whatnot.
Nah he just dropped the ball when writing this mess. He accidently wrote a dope character then killed her off. Probably realized he fukked up and will have to release the Snyder, Snyder cut to fix shyt again. :russ:

She was not equipped, prepared, or trained to go into that killzone on the wings of girl power. I know it's a zombie movie, and you gonna have these type of characters are supposed to be there so you can yell at the screen. But she gave zero fukks about anything or anybody other than the people she was trying to save, or that there was a nuclear bomb coming and she and her friends were dead anyway without the chopper.

Her friends died anyway :russ:

Um, when her father asked who had never killed a Zombie raise your hand only Dieter and CHAMBERS (the girl who beasted killing those Zombies) rose their hands.

So, her not being prepared or trained isn't the case. And she didn't give a fukk about anyone else except Geeta and that's only because of those KIDS. Again, Kate taken that personal because she was like those kids who were left behind by her bad.

She made it known the risk of her going at it alone and put it in her father's face as leverage to join them.

Again the mission didn't go sour because of her. It was because of Martin purposely fuccking them over.

That scene was dope because it was somewhat believable because it was all close combat versus every bullet getting perfect headshots in the casino.

Also, Matin was stupid as fukk to sabotage his only meas of survival way before it became logical to do so.

Such terrible writing. Zack write these characters like a video game with no sense of self preservation for dying . I think Zak is gonna end up getting blacklisted if he doesn't stop trying to be so extra with writing and cinematography his own film. Zack writing comes off like that cringy weird dad that wants to be cool.

I saw this in theatres last weekend, and am about to watch it again ... it was really good visually and overall entertaining but when you think about this movie for more than five minutes so much of it is incredibly stupid. So much in it that makes no sense, so many plot points that they bring up that they never use.

They talk about the rain waking up zombies, and it never rains. Spend time talking about that saw, and he never uses it. Guy traps girl and almost kills her, and she doesn't tell the rest of the team. Walkie talkies that they never use in critical situations which would've solved almost all of the problems they had.

Then Bautista's daughter is just annoying as fukk and has no redeeming qualities. Makes no sense for her to leave the kids ... and go look for the mom who we have to assume is dead. Then the mom dies anyway so really what was the point?? Risks the lives of like eight other people for this one woman who chose to leave her kids.

Ol' girl kills like 30 zombies after never killing one before in her life, and they just leave her to die even though she's completely savable. The lack of priority when they have 20 minutes until the nuke and just walk to the helicopter. That fukking horse beats the helicopter to the hotel too at the end. Makes zero sense.

Entire movie was just really sloppy and not typical of a Zac Snyder film. But with a LOT of suspended belief ... it's a decent watch.

Bad plotting and terrible character moments with non-sensical build up?

That is Zack Snyder films

Lol, true, you know a Snyder film is gonna be more about the looks than substance but usually the first 30 minutes of his films are pretty solid. The first part of this one was just dumb.

“We have this mission that we have four days to complete before the area gets nuked ... take a few days to think about it you want to do it.”
