Yeah i was shocked how small it was but it just tells you how huge the bezels are on iphones. Im hoping they do a 6 inch plus model in a similar size to the current plus models by simply reducing bezels. The X feels smaller than the S8

S8 is 5.8 but its a tall phone, my X case feels lile the form of a 7 but a smidge taller. I've gotten too used to the form factor of the iphone plus models so it will be interesting to see if the UI changes make up for it. IMO Apple needs to keep the form factor of the Plus models and reduce the bezels. That would probably give you a 6.3 inch acreen

The X is a beta test if anything. Buys apply more time to work out kinks for the next phones hence why they say "this is what the future of iphone wil be". i just dont know why they didnt call the 8 a 7s since they already told us the X is a preview of the future. Let next yrs model be the official next gen bringing everything together

Next year is a difference maker for everybody..Samsung too. Under the screen fingerprint sensor and the whole walk in the room and automatically charge your phone shyt.

Word is apple is racking up patents form "truly wireless" charging. And the underscreen fingerprint sensor simply was not ready in time.

it makes apple look funny to switch to a digital homebutton for the 7 and then remove it completly for the X. The X like i said is really just a prototype for early adopters. Where they imo messed up is they have regular people hyped for it now and that may come back to bite hem as early adopters can deal with halfbaked unfinised tech, the avg normal consumer on the other hand cant.

If this comes out next year, we could see true wireless charging even before apple puts their solution out with Energous, or Samsung for that matter..

Apple could had, should had at least included a finger print sensor like on the power button on the side, that's how sony does it.

No touchID is a deal breaker for some.

I been comparing the phones on apple with my 6s and I literally can't tell the difference in technology mind you I'm not a tech wiz or anything, but what is the 8 giving me that my 6s isn't. Also does the plus phone do anything different than the regular besides it being a bigger phone?

Just a few minor tweaks I see. I'm a get the 8plus cause my 6s charge port barley works.

im upset that the display is norrower on the X and also that its almost positively going to have a smaller battery than the plus. im just so thirsty for that oled that im going to take the L. it wont be long before their whole product line is bezel-less

I'm into cutting edge and early adoption. For people not like me the 8+ is the move. If you have a 7 or 7+ you dont need to upgrade.

The new gold joints look sexy but i hate the big white bezels after going back to using black iphones
