AR requiring the phone is pointless. Google Glasses to this is definitely a step back.

I don't think so breh...real time info on the fly with the phone as a heads up display is gonna be dope. the kids are gonna be all over it on some snapchat shyt.

imagine going somewhere and being able to see what your friends have "tagged" through AR. you go to a restaurant and are notified that your friends have left AR tags for you..."the chicken enchiladas here are dope af", etc. etc. shyt is ready for primetime with this new gen.

Head mounted AR is still a while away. Until people don't feel / look stupid wearing the shyt on their head, it's not going anywhere.
