Apex hit 50 mil the other day damn :wow:

All this Wingman arguing and I didn't see anyone mention the thing that truly makes it extra powerful, 100% movement speed while ADS. The reason it's better than say a Spitfire in a gun fight is cause a Spitfire plants your feet in the mud when ADS (40%), while the Wingman you can strafe at full speed while you spam shots. Much harder to hit a guy spamming a Wingman while he's ADS'd than a guy shooting a Spitfire ADS'd, and most other guns too.

PC players so accurate

They are going to have to figure something out for that on the PC side. And correct me if I'm wrong, but when you die, doesn't the game force you to spectate whoever killed you? There's scoreboard to see who's got the most kills or whatever, so that alone will make it even harder to crack down on cheaters because people just die and then go back to the queue to play another match.

You can't even see what gun killed you. They might have to implement kill cams as a way to combat this, that's what Ubisoft had to do in Siege because people would be able to cheat like this, and there was absolutely no way to record/see them doing it.

They just need to invest in good anti cheat. EA prolly didn't give them the budget before launch cause I don't think they thought it would blow this big. Seems like they thought Anthem was gonna be their cash cow actually :russ:.

Now that they got the dough I think they'll invest heavily into good anti cheat like say a Fortnite has. Luckily this isn't as big a problem on console (as with most games)

There should be a replay of how a person killed you like how over watch does when you die that would help.

Right now it's hard to call BS when you not even sure how you died.

How are you guys so sure of you're total wins? Are you writing them down?

Like I know I have 30 full squad wins with lifeline, but I easily have another 20 without a full squad, but I never kept track so I don't know exactly.
i been keeping track since my first W i write em on my notepad on my phone :russ:

Im not a pro gamer or anything but why change things? The game is great as is. Yes the wingman is powerful but its the most difficult to use. So it should be that way.

So what now? A new gun becomes OP?

And then 3 months later and we do another update. And another gun becomes OP?

Games are meant to have strong weapons and weak ones so whats the big deal?

:yeshrug:As a former overwatch player i guess im just scared to see us go from update to update and from meta to meta.

Its just a little ridiculous to me.

Same with fortnite. This gun is now OP and then that gun is now OP and so on and so on.

How about introducing a new map? Something exciting for real.

Just my opinion:yeshrug:

If it aint broke then dont fix it
