Wingman never fell off mane. Always was a skill cannon, always will be. The reason why ppl stopped picking it up is without even a grey magazine you gotta make those shots count (you only get 4 without a mag). Which means you couldn't just pick it up and spam for kills early game anymore unless you were really lucky.
It does so much damage though, even just body shots. If you're confident with your aiming skills definitely go for it. A lot of pros and top tier twitch streams still swear on it. It's shining brighter this season though since it's really good for the kinda combat this map seems to be built around, mid-range.
Definitely a weird learning curve to the game. Bullet drag in this game is weird. I find sometimes with certain guns, even in close range you have to kinda "lead" your shots. It gets worse further you are away naturally but I can't recall another shooter that felt like this even in CQC. The only gun in the game rn thats hitscan is the Charge Rifle and even the faster firing guns have bullet travel time you have to be conscious of. Game has a unique rhythm.
It's why side strafing and crouch spam is so damn effective in this.

Which is a stark difference from how this game was when it first dropped... I don't even know if there's a way to change it at this point either.

People still play aggressive in unranked, and that'll go up once ppl hit their rank plateau and don't wanna sweat. Just like it did last season lol. Biggest drawback of ranked is it made ppl thirsty for kills. Ppl used to be more sportsman like when you were downed, would go after the rest of the squad. Now as soon as you're down they try to empty the clip and move on.
Because now downed players count as damage lol.. Not their shield, just their body.. I thirst everyone now.
That video wasn't a ranked match tho. I'm sure people go off in this game, the thing is, the vast majority of hardcore players are not going to be reckless as fukk in a high ranked match because of the point system.

If you want ranked you have to follow Soar Kobi, Jankz, Daltoosh, on PS4.. They pretty much dominate...
