I wish they would stop tring to make me feel bad about these villains and just make them bad guys.
Yellojacket >>>>>>>>>> this intagible bird

So basically...... go with that old formula with hero’s and villains that’s been going on since the beginning of time?:ohhh:

I'm not interested in these stan wars you keep trying to have.

That’s not a stan war question...... there is no war...... that shyt ended last year.

That’s a logical question that’s bigger than a stan war, Marvel or DC.

I think movies with characters like this is more appealing than the constant cliche “one guy must be good and one guy must be evil”

Like the Fast movie with Jason Statham, I love how in the grande scheme of things, he wasn’t even the villain. At his core he was just a dude minding his biz and some peeps almost killed his brother and he was just out for payback.....

The Last Frontier
It was a good movie. Michael Pena was my favorite character. The villain was really weak tho. Overall it was enjoyable.

That post credit scene tho:wow::ohhh:best post credit ever.
I saw it last night. Loved it. Mike Pena is that dude. TI was cool to see. Paul Rudd is the GOAT dad in the MCU. Janet Pym might be on some Richard Reed/Shuri genius level shyt.

I felt bad for Meghan Markle chick.

Furious Styles was done wrong by Pym AND Shield.

Shield is the true bad guy, not Ghost. I like how that sequed up with Everett Ross being a subtle bad guy in Black Panther.

The ant scene at the end was NOT a throwaway. Ants follow the instructions of the Queen. The Queen is Hope and she programmed that ant to protect. She wouldn't be stupid enough to just program it to mimic his daily routine.

They are turning the sympathetic villain into a formula. Killmonger, Vulture now Her. You don't just replace one formula with another and act like thats better.
Besides Villains can be compelling in all sorts of ways, the don't have to be sympathetic to be good.

Joker is certainty not sympathetic but is a great villain. And he's just a crazy lunatic who wants to see the world burn
Loki was a great villain and he wasn't sympathetic either, just ego maniac who wanted everyone to bow in deference.
Thanos is a great villain and his motivations for saving the world by killing half of all life is completely insane.

It's more to do with the acting ability and providing enough screen-time for solid character development to allow the audience to get invested, then any formula.

Ghost's Character just wasn't fascinating, intimidating, or charismatic. She was just meh.

There’s been.... what 18-19 movies and over 20+ villains as some had more that one.

3 isn’t a “formula” it’s a small deviation from the norm.

I disagree that Ghost wasn’t fascinating as her skillset/powers and background was more that enough to make her that.

Disagree she wasn’t intimidating, every time she was on screen she was intimidating to those around her.

Charismatic? Most people who are charismatic have humor, quips, and jokes to them. It’s strange punishing her for something that she didn’t do when most cases others in the past were heavily criticized for just that.

I disagree with all your points.
Especially the last one saying charisma = comedy? :gucci:
