Zambia 1 - 1 Tanzania

Chipolopolo couldn't shoot The Taifa Stars out of the sky but the stars couldn't outshine the projectiles.

South Africa 4 - 0 Namibia

Bafana Bafana decimates the not-so-Brave Warriors. This match sure did 'click' together. :troll:

DAmn, Ugly scenes to end to such a good match.

There were allegedly "monkey and slave" insults hurled at Chancel Mbemba (Olympique de Marseille CB and captain of DRC) at the end of the game by the Moroccans including their coach.

The way that the Moroccans players and coaches are acting in post game pressers and social media is making me believe that these alleged accusations are true. They all are taking the tone of "things are said in the heat of moment and the adrenaline was kicking with the heat and both teams got overly emotional and I have no problem with Mbemba. We are all Africans and we need to be united" type of messages.

In other words, Moroccans are not outright refuting or condemning the accusations of racism instead taking a reconciliatory tone without telling us what was there to specifically reconcile or blaming the intensity/competitiveness of the game for words exchanged.

Disgusting.. I always find it ridiculous when players act like there's no line that cant be crossed and as long as its done on the pitch its ok.

There were clips of Neyseri chasing after Mbemba in the tunnel

Regraoui went up to shake his hand and didn’t let go.

I’ll find the clips

Saw all of it. Mbemba got on his knees and started praying at the end of the game because dude is a devout Christian and very religious. He gets up the Moroccan coach daps him up but Mbemba does not make eye contact with him and the coach says in French "Regarde moi, regarde moi" ORDERS him to look at him as if Mbemba is his child, and Mbemba is probably like "Who the hell are you?" and then says that something racist was said.

These arab players have a sense of entitlement and want people to be subservient to them. I have watched their interactions with referees they are extremely overly aggressive in this AFCON that I am surprised not a lot of yellows have been handed out for dissent.

It is more than the usual players complaining to refs about the call. I saw Mo Salah in Egypt's first game being extremely confrontational and aggressive toward Black refs for an obvious fair call that I am sure he would not have muster that type of energy in the EPL.

Under estimated part of all this is Morocco/Algeria online war is something else

Every AFCON update each rivalling side is going hard at the opposing national team

They despise each other with a passion
