Offense looked competent which is a pleasant change after the past two seasons. Stills lacks any resemblance of explosiveness but I can live with it for now. The vibes surrounding the squad appears better too. Players seem to have bought in on what Mayo and the staff are preaching.

Felt good to not hate watch for a change. Not once did I bury my face in hands, muttering “I fukking hate this team” to myself.

Expectations are low. Anything more than 4 wins would surprise me. Just be fun bad and a team I can feel good about. Give me a reason to not dread turning the game on each Sunday. That’s all I ask out of this season.

Mayo's game management and game plan was as good as any I've seen and it fit perfectly with the roster he has.

Defense looks like it'll be top 5 unit. They don't have the depth in the defensive line with Barmore out but they looked dominant against Cincy. Secondary looks like a top unit.

Offense is gonna be mediocre with Jacoby but at least he's not gonna have meltdowns like Mac.

I thought this was a 4 win team with the shytty OL play in the preseason. But if they're gonna be solid like they showed against Cincy, they could fight to play .500.

This coaching staff ain't it. Embarrassing defensive effort. Ever since the Bengals game where they played extremely well, offenses have had the answer and they haven't been able to adjust.

There was good and bad today. You can definitely see he has the arm talent and mobility.

It's only one game, but I was impressed.

Liked what I saw out of Maye. Kind of have to grade on a curve because of the offensive line. Hard to get a read on anyone. I still can’t tell if Alex Van Pelt is ass or what because the line is so trash.

Maye did show some good. Easily our best option at QB. The kid just needs legitimate NFL talent around him. Staying with that good awful line.

Also, Polk needs to catch the damn ball.

Expected Loss today but Maye showed some hope. He's going to learn a lot this season and if they sort out the Oline next season hopefully we are growing into something

Not surprised with the result from today.

I do think Maye has looked good. Not perfect, but he's definitely shown his potential so far, and it has been a BIG difference in QB play for the Patriots the past few weeks.

Need to see Polk get it going.

I love the mobility he has shown so far. This team desperately needs some WR help.
