NBC wanted to cover SB 60 next year so it can align with the Winter Olympics and wanted to do it that way going forward with the new Super Bowl rotation.

Now that Disney is involved, it’ll go to NBC every 4 years and will run simultaneously with the Winter Olympics.

And along with that, NBC asked to have this Super Bowl broadcasted on Telemundo, which they own, especially since FOX doesn’t own a Spanish channel. It’ll be the first time the SB has individual Spanish language coverage and production (pre, in-game, post).
