Why not? We might let Kaapo Kakko (RFA) walk and grab a first and third, since he's been disappointing as hell.
As for Kreider.. maybe.. maybe not. If Not, I fully expect Lafreniere to continue to come into his own. He'll be going into year 3.

Just saw that we've also gotta resign Georgiev, Braun, Motte, and Vatrano. 
On the bright side.. we've got 14.5 milly to work with, not the original 10.6 that I thought. Still gonna be tough.. but we'll just have to wait and see.

They could be out in the first round next year; should have this year. Trouba cheapshots Crosby and they come back from 3-1. Got dominated in game 7 against Pittsburgh but Igor stole the game. Then they went 7 with Carolina. It isn't like they steamrolled to the ECF.

I honestly don't like Tampa Bay at all but I am kind of rooting for them to win because three in a row in the salary cap era would be such an achievement.

Strometrooper is trash. I've never seen an NHL player miss so much empty nets. The Rangers would be dumb to bring him back
Every team gets a little bit of "luck" in the 'offs. The Rangers earned their spot in the ECF.
Penguins had a 3-1 series lead and led in Games 5, 6 & 7. They simply choked/collapsed. Carolina had a 2-0 series lead but played like sh!t on the road and that cost them the series.
Imagine being a Sidney Crosby fan3 rings.
