Colorado is one of the top teams in the league. Now, they're in the SCF and will be the favorite against any team that wins the Eastern Conference.

The ECF is between the NY Rangers and TB Lightning. NY leads 2-1. Game 4 is tomorrow.

Lightning and Rangers have Game 4 in the ECF tomorrow night, the Rangers are up 2-1. That series is pretty much the young upstart team versus the battle worn veterans. At this point that series could go either way.

Avs would be most peoples favorite going into the Stanley Cup Finals regardless of who wins though.

So there's only three teams left now and here's where they are in current status.

• Colorado Avalanche for the past few years have been regular season monsters, but always folded in the second round. But they finally broke through this year and just made it to the Finals.
• Tampa Bay Lightning are the defending back to back Champs and are looking to be the first team to 3-Peat since 1983 and solidifying their dynasty.
• New York Rangers have been a surprise team this year being lead by their MVP-nominated goalie in his first full year as a starter.

I ain’t gon front and act like I’ve been riding with this version of the team since day 1 but I been riding with them since day 350. Go Avs!

I was a little more than a casual when we had those Sakic-Forsberg-Roy teams. But it’s been a super minute since I really started following them. Basketball and football has always been king to me but it’s always good to have great teams in the town regardless of the sport. Hope they can bring another Cup home.

To be fair, there are only 7 Canadian NHL teams (compared to 25 American ones). Winning the SC is also probably the hardest out of the big 4 North American sports leagues.

Also, many top NHL players are Canadian.

Don't be stupid. There are way more US teams in the league than Canadian teams. US teams have a much higher chance of winning off sheer numbers. Canadian teams actually support US teams (revenue sharing). Most of the players on the teams are Euro and Canadian

I’m in Montreal with the fam. It’s cool to see the difference between how TNT, ESPN, and SN do their playoff coverage. ESPN is embarrassing in comparison to the other two. They should really be ashamed.
