No, the ratings that NHL have gotten for TNT/ESPN have established that NHL is firmly #4. Bettman isn’t a good commissioner imo for many reasons and marketing and promotion is a big reason why; He made a good tv deal here. NHL has gotten good mainstream and casual attention being on top level cable networks as opposed to being ignored on a 2nd tier network like NBCSN
