Breh if you really think the dynamics of this team and the 2008 team are mostly similar, God bless you.

That 2008 team had been rebuilding since the Mutumbo era and had accomplished nothing unlike this team which still has the core of the team that has gone as far as any Hawks team in Atlanta history. I don’t see the parallels but if you see this as an apples to apples comparison and think the extra couple of games of this season have value then by all means enjoy the rest of this season

I obviously see it and remember it very differently
Breh I don’t care about the apples to apples comparison I’m saying you get the young players to play hard in a playoff setting against a #1 seed with a coach that just got here it gives you momentum into the next season. You have a developmental coach in Snyder he could get the most out the extra practices and game time

I don’t think we can survive a Trae/Murray backcourt moving forward. Low key, Murray might be as bad as Trae is as a 1-on-1 defender. He get smoked on the wing a TON, SMH. It would be wise for the Hawks to make a choice this summer between them and I’m leaning towards keeping Murray. At least he has the humility to know when it’s not his night and not shoot 35 foot bombs 8 seconds into the shotclock during crunch time, smh.

Only thing is b/c of all the picks we gave up for him it’s gonna be hard to move him for what was basically a 1 year rental with almost no first round picks over the next few years. I like Dejounte but it was an awful trade

You trade Trae you’re hitting reset on the franchise, which I’m cool with but I don’t think the franchise is there…yet. I think they’ve got to at least acknowledge that this isn’t working (with the current roster) and that this has been a mostly mediocre situation since we drafted Trae

I'm with most. Just end this season. Something is just off. No reason to be this mid. Too inconsistent

When your team leader go on record and say something like "the regular season is boring," that tends to set the tone for a lot of subpar or "mid" basketball. Me, I can't wait till the Heat put them on front street tomorrow night. I can already see how the game will go...

  • Heat blitz Trae and he responds with 8+ turnovers because he'll continually hold the ball for way too long and throw dumbass last-second passes. Most of his lobs will get broken up but he won't learn and keep throwing them.
  • Heat bigs dominate and out-physical our bigs. Bam will have a dominating performance. Something like 25 pts, 15 rebs, 8 assts.
  • Dre grab less than 4 rebounds. Get's in foul trouble, will probably be a non-factor. Probably have like 12 pts, 3 rebs.
  • Collins will be whatever.
  • Murray get's burned on the perimeter/pushed-around. Probably shoot 7-20 on the night.
  • As a team we shoot 7-35 on 3's. Heat shoot something like 18-30 from 3 because we continue to play shytty overhelping defense because neither Trae or Murray can stay in front of their man on the perimeter, opening the door for nikkas like Martin, Robinson, Love, Strus, etc. to just hit open shots.
  • 4th quarter will be the icing on the cake and will come down to classic Hawks iso ball between Trae/Murray most of the quarter before they finally decide to pass the ball as shyt get out of hand to John/Dre and both of them will likely get ripped or dribble the ball off their foot for turnovers.

It's become clear the problem wasn't just LP and Nate. It's not even a talent issue. At this point, we need to start raising eyebrows at the so called "leaders" of the team and their lack of accountability.

When we lose tomorrow any of y’all going to the game Friday vs TOR/CHI?

Hell nah :mjlol:

I wish I would spend money to go see that shyt. I'm done spending money on tickets or paying for streaming to watch these nikkas on Bally sports. If these nikkas don't care, why should I waste my hard earned money? Hawks is illegal online stream status for me at this point :hubie:

I’ve watched these dudes play sparingly over the last two months but I’ll tune in on Tuesday & Friday just to see this shyt go down in flames. Praying for two convincing blowouts by Miami & TOR/CHI
