I know everybody is not gung ho about Nate but im taking the side of the guy with over 30 years of NBA experience over the spoiled star that kinda just does what he wants.

Bruh idc if it’s LeBron, Kobe or MJ..no 1 player is above the team. I was a fan of the Hawks before Trae and I’ll be a fan after he leaves. He on some bullshyt

So Nate told Trae he could either come off the bench or not show up to the arena at all because he didn’t wanna participate in the shootaround while getting his shoulder treated… what the fukk? Y’all quick to turn on Trae but that shyt don’t even sound right to me.

Definitely a weird ultimatum from nate..sounds like they both tired of each other.

Either play off the bench or stay home? Man its game 20 of a long season we need everybody healthy out there egos aside..I will say this video brought is a pretty interesting though..notice every member of the team is preaching EVERYONE getting involved

Yep. shyt not a good look for Trae. Now we know 100% who DJ was talking to when he was talking during the Denver postgame interview.

Of course the ATL

AJC said:
The AJC confirmed a report from The Athletic Sunday evening that Young and McMillan disagreed on the guard’s participation at Friday’s shootaround. Young wanted to focus on treatment on his ankle during shootaround, while McMillan suggested during the team’s walk-through. When Young declined to participate in shootaround, McMillan offered him the option of either playing off the bench or miss Friday’s game entirely. Young opted to miss the game and the team ruled him out.

It is team policy that a player must participate in shootaround in order to start a game.

Young has not been on a recent injury report due to his ankle.

The Athletic also reported that the team has held multiple meetings to resolve “various conflicts” and that the latest situation has led to some within the organization questioning the guard’s leadership.

Trae has never been and never will be a leader on this team. I like Trae but he’s a gifted, elite yet selfish player. That has to rub off on his teammates and coaches. He’s had issues with JC, issues with Lloyd Pierce, he’s having issues with Nate. We all know Nate is going to go before Trae but this isn’t a good look for the organization

What kinda ultimatum is that? :snoop:

Steph Curry has came off the bench before because he wasn’t 100%. Why is Trae too good for that?
