Hawks desperately need Bogi back. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

From 3:
Trae 1-8, Murray 1-4, Aaron Holiday 1-4, Justin Holiday 0-3.

That shyt is inexcusable. Basically 16 wasted possessions.

If Huerter have a K-Von moment tomorrow night, the fanbase will be in shambles :francis:

I don't know how many times I have to say it but we need a coach that can actually design a offense instead of constant Trae PnR or Murray PnR :francis:

Here’s the article summed up in 1 of the paragraphs-

“Chris Kirschner of The Athletic was the Atlanta Hawks beat reporter for four years before earning a promotion to cover the New York Yankees. In a tweet yesterday, Kirschner provided some insight into the Huerter trade, saying, "The Huerter trade was an abomination but that didn’t come from the front office."

I thought it was common knowledge we only traded Kevin to get under the tax

Y’all could be right :ohhh:

Ressler has always said he doesn’t care about the tax though & will do whatever to bring a title here. I was assuming that article was pointing at Nate wanting Huerter gone

Of course the ATL
He calling Ressler cheap?

Reseller made the call to trade Kevin b/c he didn’t want to go in the luxury tax for a play in team. So yea Ressler got cheap on Kevin and for a team that can’t shoot 3’s it’s a bad look right now, but shyt Kevin got every opportunity to shine here and had his moments. Hindsight is 20/20 imo

BTW y’all keep dancing around it but having another capable ball handler like Dejounte is a good look late in games. We literally lost a whole playoff series vs MIA b/c we didn’t have anyone capable of creating their own shot or taking pressure off of Trae. I don’t know anyone who has said that Dejounte is better than Trae overall

Bro we literally had this convo last yr where I posted direct quotes from Ressler saying he would only go into the tax for a championship contending team. He wasn’t goin into the tax for Kevin Huerter on a play in team that lost in the first round in 5 games and based off of last yr why would you. Our team is playing well overall but Kevin is just balling out

The trade only looks stupid because Boji is out and we are uncertain about when he's coming back. We also got a 1st rd for him that we can use in a trade. Salute to Kev for shining in a bigger role tho, he's not getting that opportunity here.
