Can't resign dejounte until next summer. He is only eligible for a small raise right now.

He will shop for a MAX if we don't give it to him next summer.

I'm not opposed to packaging him for a player that we would be more comfortable paying the MAX.

Almost feels like drafting Kobe was the insurance for when that time comes. Very similar players

dude was charming to the media and campaigned for max and claimed he was an all-star. Whined behind closed doors about touches. Tanked a one of our seasons with PEDs. Refused surgery on that finger.

Why would DJM resign? He can get a better deal by not resigning next summer. He loses if he signs with us right now so I don’t see that at all

JC was a good guy, but a diminished player. The return was mediocre but hopefully we have the flexibility to pursue another quality big in this lineup. Dre & Clint can’t come back next season
