Only thing surprising is that they arent bigger names for Wrestling having its Me too moment given we've known for decades.

Ive been following Maffew's account for all the retweets rather than the expose wrestling twitter account since they also seem to be adding names of people who havent even had folks come foward about them. Also very eye opening that male wrestlers have also come forward about being abused

Sad part Im not sure if this will get any expose beyond wrestling twtter because Wrestling has this carny image and it seems like mainstream media gave up on trying to cancel it after Benoit didnt have the changes they wanted.

One of my best friends is in the British wrestling industry, worked in Japan and was trained by Will Ospreay, and when I asked her about all this she just replied “everything’s a fukking mess. I’m so glad I wasn’t training when I was a teen”.

It’s not even just women as well, she told me about a UK promoter who touched a 12 year old boy’s dikk that he had been training since he was 10

this could serious decimate the entire british wrestling scene, but it sounds like a purge is needed

Ive been looking at Maffew retweeting all the people coming forward and it looks like some guys have as well.

I remember we were all shocked how unscathed the biz went after #MeToo. There were some stories but one would think wrestling is FILLED with :scust: behavior, specially on this topic.

I still dont think we've seen the tipping point. Theres still a lot of people from the old school/attitude era and especially the Ruthless Agression era that have not come forward with the support they need and i wonder if thats because they feel obligated to Vince and locker room culture or what.

This is different and makes sense with it being younger generation of guys and girls and being the indie scene

That is definitely it, especially when you hear how guys like Taker, Mark Henry, and Booker talk about owing Vince their lives and shyt.

its not just the UK scene who are filled with pervs/pedos/pieces of shyt, it's just that the people in the UK are the only ones with the balls to come forward so far because the wrestling culture in the US is so backwards that these people are protected, in high ranking positions, and the victims dont wanna hurt their own career so the shyt is just normalized and chalked up to it being a part of the culture

wrestling in general attracts the lowest of the low and any and every wrestling related community at one point has come across those kinds whether it be a wrestling forum, wrestling fans on twitter, or companies themselves

protect the boys brehs
