I can't believe it took 3 years since Me Too blew up for this to hit the wrestling industry. I CAN believe the UK scene is an absolute cesspool of sex pests, abusers, and rapists. I've seen a few of these allegations from UK people in the past (particularly Marty Scurll maybe being a pedo, some of the promotors, the Sexton guy). I remember the Ospreay/his girlfriend getting someone blackballed for accusing their friend, and Ospreay sticks his foot in his mouth so often I'm surprised he's been able to skate by in general.

Jay Lethal's predilection for fukking his trainees has been known for a long time and is a real gray area. Definitely not appropriate, but isn't necessarily predatory or nefarious. You know, unless it is.

Vince has to be comforted that most of the women from the 80s that his roster no doubt ran through (and probably himself) are probably too old to be on twitter to post their stories. However, most of his roster right now is from the indies and UK scene so
It depends with Lethal. If he is using his position to pull women into sexual relationships for training then it could be seen as predatory.

Don't underestimate how low the wrestling business will go. Wouldn't surprise me when it's all said and done that these blackballed wrestlers form their own promotion, cause with the way this is looking a lot of them are gonna be looking for work.

Alexa Bliss definitely except no one forced her and the price? More company tv time and a 3 year push.

Perhaps, but 5 years down the road when her star has faded she can just claim that she was abused (and I'm just saying that hypothetically, cuz I actually like her).

Side notes:

1.) Stop sending these women dikk pics (even if they solicit one)

2.) Alot of people wouldn't even be born if their pops didn't "abuse" their mother.

3.) Attitude era Vince would've turned this into a storyline

4.) I truly believe that a lot of this "abuse" actually was legit abuse, but some of it was just "regret after the fact".

5.) Please don't mention Velveteen Dream anymore in the thread (saw at least 1 mention). His issue is currently out of the public eye, and there shouldn't be any attention drawn to it (unless more evidence comes out proving him guilty). #TheDreamHasNoRecollectionOfThat

6.) You know that when you're dealing with this social-media thing it's "guilty until proven innocent"

The Velveteen Dream stuff was seemingly made up. The person behind it deleted their twitter account after they were exposed as part of some troll chat group called "Exposing Ni***rs."

Seems like its not just wrestling but a general wave of secondary Me Too claims are coming out in different industries past 24 hours

Saw Warren Ellis the comic book guy get accussed and the actor Ansel Elgort

The Warren Ellis shyt is real vague, it sounded more like a woman complaining that he dumped her or some shyt. No accusations of assault or going after underage women or anything like that so I didn't really get that one.

Ansel Elgort on the other hand fukked a 17 year old girl and kept going when she told him to stop so his career might be cooked. He sucked in Baby Driver anyway.

But yeah looks like MeToo 2.0 is happening on top of all the other shyt in 2020.
