The Trump administration just blocked all charter flights to Cuba to everywhere but Havana.

I believe he also gave them citizenship if they reached American soil which was a policy we loved away from during our normalization of Cuban relations.

I think we're being dishonest if we pretend Fidel wasn't who he was.

Who's saying anything about that? We can go over the history of the Cuban revolution but what it comes down to is Bernie wasn't praising Castro. He was praising literacy after he was asked the question about what he said decades ago. He's defended it because why would he lie and act like he didn't say it?

If you say he shouldn't be president for that. That's fine, because that's the political aspect of it.

You don't need to evoke regressive authoritarians to promote progressive policies.
