She is a fukking conservative in a Democrat’s Halloween costume. I live in the area that she grew up in, is running her campaign in, it is DEEPLY conservative, and she is just playing a part, it will be interesting to see what she does with her “war chest” once she drops out in the next month or two.

O/u 2.5 times she mentions the right for women to choose?

Gillibrand needs to :camby:

Shes pretty much the only one i have absolutely no interest in hearing from tonight

I like Gillibrand on stage for two purposes.
1) Her election funding plan (I believe Yang has a similar concept so they can double up to get this across).
2) Postal Service Banking (it's not a major hype bill but it's a smart one that seems easy enough to implement and which I'd love to see get even a little bit more shine).

Other than that, I'm inclined to agree. I think she'd be most likely to target Harris on the Medicare privatization expansion bill masquerading as M4A though and Deblasio's the only other one tonight who I could even picture gunning for that lane. Not saying she's a good candidate, but having that voice in the room can be helpful since they put our legit progressive voices on last night's stage.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?

Over, but that is a winning/single issue voter ideal, so I don't have an issue with it. It's more the grandstanding that she did during the height of #Metoo. I just feel like some of the shyt she did, including of course the Al Franken (which I understood at the time, but I had very little info, where as she could have investigated, as she had the resources), but it appeared to me that she was trying to elevate herself on the backs of victims, and I fukking HATE that shyt, from anyone, in any situation that involves victims. I think she does decent work as a Senator, but now I'm thinking that it all was to raise her profile. I'm mostly upset that she could've/should've used her big stick to help marijuana legalization in NY cross the finish line, but instead of pressuring the state pols, she is only focusing on her bid.

Also would like to add that other than warren/bernie/marianne everyone pretty much seems to wanna maintain status quo instead of actually improving this country
that was one soundbite i was able to really catch last night, warren calling out i think delaney - don't know all these white guys - on running for president based on what we can't do...loved it

yeah that was one of the highlights.

bernie had some too, calling out the moderators (tapper) for using republican talking points to frame their questions, which the crowd loved. it was really bizarre overall. the whole thing started with playing the national anthem, i don't think i've ever seen that on a debate before. it felt like i was watching a foxnews debate really.

oh, was there any sanders/warren crossfire or were they mainly firing at the centrists?
none. they were on the same page all the way through.

I just think she uses that talking point way too much. Its tiring

There isnt one democrat up there that doesnt believe in the right for women to choose. It may be a single issue for some voters but it doesnt differentiate herself from others at all in my estimation

Im consistent on that angle in politics. You do not want to be a one trick pony in a presidential election. Bernie has the same problem. He'd be well into the 20s in polling if he showed more depth outside of healthcare despite that arguably being the most important issue. If he didnt mention his stance on medicare for all for 2 months people would still know where he stands on it

If they could have high fived (in all it's white boomer glory) they would have multiple times. CNN loaded all the questions to frame Bernie and Warren as too radical and it wound up being them against virtually everyone else.
