Establishment Democrats always make the same argument. Vote for some lackluster status quo candidate because they can win a general. Obama won because he presented himself as not being establishment but all those folks telling you to vote for John Kerry or Hillary Clinton and now Joe Biden need to understand that those are exactly the sorts of candidates that fail in the general because nobody really likes Republican lite candidates like that. They'd rather just vote for real Republicans.
Southern black voters at this point vote for whoever the establishment tells them to vote for. If you look at whoever the establishment candidate is that's who's gonna win down there. They obviously broke ranks with Obama but traditionally they just follow marching orders.

You guys really do love to rob black Southern voters of their agency whenever things don't go your way. It's fukking annoying.
Biden is killing Bernie in almost every demographic.

Obama didn’t attack the establishment though. He simple said we have to try something new. Get on board.
Saying they are afraid of us is revolution stuff you do when you are trying to break the system.
It’s always easier to get people to take the minimalist risk and not just do anything cause it’s dangerous
