I watched every game except for maybe 2 the last 2 years, explain what you mean... You gonna go eye test, or you want to talk analytics.
He was my #4 QB ahead of Allen and I had him in the 12-32 range. Like I said before. Hes a better player than maybe anyone in this class but he doesn't have great longevity as a QB prospect. 5-7 years if not well coached. NFL teams are looking for 12-15 years at that position. That's why they take not ready players at QB very high.

I had similar questions. That said. I hope Baltimore can develop him into a pro style QB mixed with RPO concepts and really develop a great supporting cast around Jackson. I love him in the short term more than any guy on my board. Even more than Barkley and Nelson but I have questions long term which is critical seeing that he is a QB.

This is true but I liked even Vicks longevity potential better. Lamar is really going to have to get better passing the rock as he doesn't have the tools Vick had which gave him time to develop from a passing standpoint.

Did y’all send the House first round for that RB :usure: ik u acting obtuse rn my guy, it wasn’t a bad draft pick, it just wasn’t necessary how y’all approached getting him, and you send that type of boat out for a franchise QB or someone who’s gonna really shift the future. Davenport might be a god but I highly doubt he was what y’all needed even if you wanna look at an “approach needs” perspective
We got a future set with Lattimore, Kamara, Thomas, Williams, etc.

FOH dude. You just sprouting out typical draft rhetoric.

"Oh noez their QB is old they have to draft one if they move up!"

We in win now mode. Our QB we have currently is a HOF who was one defensive gaffe away from possibly leading us to another. The hell is so crucial about taking a chance on a QB, who Payton came out last week and said he didn't love any of the QBs in this class as a high rd pick, just to say "We got our QB of the future!"

Future is now for us. Pressure on QBs is what we severely lacked last year. We found creative ways to get to the QB but relied heavily on Cam Jordan a lot. Now we have someone who can take double teams away for him.

The result is all that needs to be attacked if Davenport is a bust. The thought process should not. Team who feels they are in a win now mode for a Super Bowl trades some of their future ammo to go all in now during what is possibly their strongest chance to win a championship.

Your analysis is just trying to sound smart just to sound smart.
