serious question: can someone explain the gordon hayward hype?...he's a decent player, but the league/media acting like he the missing piece on a championship team, and i just dont see it...hell, blake had better stats them him this year, and this was his career year, but people were talking like blake wasnt shyt compared to hayward....

He was an all-star on a really good Utah team that got to the semis. Is he the missing piece Boston has needed for so long? No, but given how risk averse Ainge is right now, it's the best they can do for now. He would help a lot.
Blake's issue is that he gets hurt a lot now and if he's not dunking on people, fans don't seem to care as much for him anymore.
