That's not the point. I didn't care for DLo at all but this trade will be horrible if we don't get PG this summer. Lets say PG doesn't come this summer? What's the point then of the trade, I know Dangelos trade value was low but that Brooklyn deal could have been done at any time

Dangelo has trade value next summer

There are no POint guards in the draft

Stupid ass trade

5 year deal for Jrue Holliday? May as well just trade Anthony Davis right now.

Something has to be done about the salary cap

If you're already close to the cap, youre kind of forced to go over the cap and overpay players you know you shouldn't

Problem for New Orleans is them overpaying players is why they're in this position. They're probably paying Asik & Solomon Hill the same amount per year as they'll give Holiday

They have to get mozgov and deng off the books tho before next offseason
Yeah but it would've been easier to come off a deal that has two years left and may not have cost D'Angelo. Even if teams know the Lakers are desperate to clear the books for the right price they'd take on those contracts. Hell do like GS did with Durant. Once you get the agreement in place from a free agent only then make the moves to clear the cap room to sign them.

Hill already said months ago that he wanted to stay in Utah, primarily because they have a nice core to work with and that he doesn't want to keep bouncing from state to state, wanting to settle down with his family not having to keep on moving. But of course that may be changing because of Gordon Hayward. He also said that his decision depends on what happens to Gordon Hayward, so if Hayward leaves, so will Hill.

No point in staying in Utah if there's no real chance at a championship, so...

I wonder where Minnesota can move Rubio to thoug

According to Doogie, George Hill doesn't wanna play for Thibs and is only using them to drive up his price
