russell is no where near harden size wise or athletically, it's a terrible comparison. Harden is a bull at the 2 guard position. He's bigger, but not near as good a shooter or ball handler as curry. These are lazy comparisons to compare him to another lefty or to compare him to another below thr im guard. A couple fancy passes in college showing nice vision does not make him a point guard. He says he studies manu, but he's not even manu.
:mjlol: Ok then what is he?

Enlighten us mr basketball genius

So Clarkson will be a bigger & more athletic Monta Ellis, Russell will be Steph Curry, Randle will be a Barkley/Randolph hybrid, Upshaw is gonna be the biggest undrafted steal since Ben Wallace and on top of that y'all are getting Durant & Westbrook in a few years

Must be nice :ehh:

Sounds about right, we may have to move Russel or Clarkson when Russy come though :ehh:

nikka he can't shoot fish in a barrel :dahell:

What the fukk you talking about all the tools to be successful? What is that nikka gone do when every team he plays goes under the screen? :mjlol:

You think teams would dare go under a Dangelo Russell screen? Huh? :sas2:

Mudiay already proved he can succeed as a pro,you must forgot he averaged 19,6,6 in China,we'll see what happens when they slip under that screen,it won't make a difference he'll figure it out.

Russell won't even be able to get around screens, slow ass first step, gonna get him jammed every time on the screen and role

he was drafted #2 overall. harden was drafted #3 overall. its not unrealistic to expect Russell to be an all-star caliber player. that is a REALISTIC expectation for a guy taken that high in the draft. its the reason why folks like Hasheem Thabeet are considered busts. high pick = high expectations.

your argument would make sense if this was last year and we were saying Clarkson (a second round pick) would be the next Russell Westbrook. that would be setting unrealistic expectations.

I just don't see those expectations,he could become a great player,or Michael Kidd Gilchrist, just a solid player who had no business going #2
