I just still don't get how he slipped to #7,he def should have been #2 pick.
You right tho none of the guards have impressed alot,but Mudiay is already showing that top notch athleticism and also showing he can get wherever he wants on the floor whenever he wants and he's 6'5 on top of that.
Outside of poise and a few nice passes D'angelo Russell didn't show anything,he couldn't blow by anyone and wasn't aggressive,I really don't think he's going to be anywhere close to this superstar people are making him out to be.
Okafor is solid,but again I think he is overhyped,Towns is the real deal tho,I can see him being worthy of that #1 pick,those teams dropped the ball letting Mudiay slip that far tho,no way he should have went lower than #2

Totally agree I don't expect Okafor to be great great until a couple of years from now he has to get his conditional and jump/free throw shots in order. Towns need to be less aggressive on defense because them fouls were too many. I am kind of glad we didn't get Russell as Embiid career is over and he didn't have a fit on the team.

And that's why I don't really blame Philly for not selecting Mudiay,because the moment they said Okafor's name,I knew Embiid was threw,but yea Okafor>Russell,I mean some may think Im hating on Russell,but dude is not what people think he is,his stats were extremely misleading in college,he SUCKED against teams rated in the top 60 ranking wise,and on top of that his athleticism is nothing to talk about,and in a game where athletic guards are the demand,I don't understand why he was so highly touted.

Totally true and this is why Hinkie was stockpiling those first rounders because he had too I think they knew Embiid was done. Russell couldn't even drive pass anyone I know it's the first game but he didn't have it in college so he won't have it in the pros.
