Okafor should have 30 in this game. There is nobody that can even pretend to guard him on this Summer League roster. He's heavier than everyone that will guard him by 40 pounds (cept Captain Kirk)

To be honest they seen enough he doesn't need to play anymore. Can't wait until the season starts

That's a good point but at the same time it's better to have someone try to hide him than the alternative. Having him as the primary rim protector which is what he might have been had he gon to L.A(assuming the Pacers didn't trade Hibbert).

Nah, it's not about his own man scoring, it's about him rotating and playing team defense.

To be honest 1 on 1 defending in the post in todays NBA isn't a big deal. It's rim protection and defending the pick and roll that you pretty much need your big men to be able to do.

The Randle / Okafor frontcourt would have been a disaster Noel can cover for Okafor, but he needs to get a lot better individually in team defense, he was pretty shytty at it at Duke.


That's why Towns went first over him, it's expected that he will be a + defender, where as Okafor has a lot of work to do.

I understand where yall coming from but from watching him I believe it is more of a conditional of getting tired when it comes to defense he lazy tired but he has shown the ability to cover the guard and he did a good job. Just rebound and score that will come.
