so far we know this. the good: sublime court vision, great passer, good rebounder, and good potential defensively. the bad: lacks elite first step quickness and ability to finish at the rim. the incomplete: can he shoot the ball at a high level from 3 and the mid-range?

first 2 games, his outside shot has been off. is that a blip or the trend? cause if he lacks the ability to shoot from the outside at an high level, then he's ricky rubio. I'm gonna go with blip since he showed great shooting ability in college. he might not become steph curry, but I think he can become a really good outside shooter.

Rubio played great defense and controlled the game. Rubio was always what he was on offense, If D'Angelo isn't what he is suppose to be in terms of scoring, he's in a great deal of trouble.

Wasnt throwing shade. He's doing what he should be doing. But defense and double teams in the NBA arent like it is in Summer League. He might struggle a bit early on the season before he adjusts. I expect a strong 2nd year.

Oh there will be struggles but he has the talent and it has shown to pass out of the double team and reposition or pass to that shooter. I am not worrying about that just his conditioning and 82 game schedule.

Hollis Thompson and Robert Covington. Yeah I know. who? right? IIRC both were top 15 in 3pt% on a lot of attempts..so he will have some shooters. Definately needs a guy who can get his own shot on the perimeter tho...been needing that since AI tho...
