Not a bad idea. Can't lie. Sacramento needs to figure out what the hell they wanna do.

Draft Oladipo #1 , get Alex Len or Plumlee and move on forward. You can't build around Cousins. That nikka need a stable place to grow and it's not Sacramento. Might as well look at the boy Burke or McCullcem as well. Get a center in Free Agency like Greg Oden

Burke
Oladipo
Evans
Patterson
Oden

Hearing from multiple sources that Mavs likely to trade the No. 13 pick. Want to save cap space for Dwight Howard run ..

No. 13 draft pick slotted to make $1,655,300 in year one. Mavs need all the cap room they can get to make room for Howar

That's nothing shocking, that is expected. What would be shocking if they can get someone to take Marion's 10.4 plus the trade kicker contract with nothing on it. That would be a shocker. Not saying it won't happen, just saying it would be shocking.

Atlanta has two top 20 picks in this drafr. :ahh:

The Mavs gonna gamble(and lose) it all AGAIN thinking they can land a big time free agent like Dwight? :snoop:

Cuban has fallen so hard and is delusional.

No big name FA has ever come to Dallas for anything except for A-Rod and TO. Nobody wants to come here.

Hell, I don't even wanna be here. :heh:

I believe Marion can be amnestied.

If not and I'm a team like Sac, Det, Charlotte I'd eat his salary for that lotto pick. Them overpaying for a FA at this point wouldn't be worth it.

i agree the real winner in this is bobcats, they have their pick next year and will suck and could get wiggins, then they have detroit pick if its not top 8, and then they get portlands pick if its not top 12. SO they are looking at maybe number 1., number 9 number 13 in a deep ass draft

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Cleveland trading the pick is definitely a possibility

But I think another mediocre season, high draft pick, and saving their cap space for 2015 and praying for a Lebron return is their best bet

Irving, Waiters, Tristan, Noel, and another top 10 pick in a crazy draft next year could be very tempting to Bron

Kyrie is an excellent fit next to him

I think it'll all depend on Wade and how he holds up next year

But Noel not being ready right away will help Cleveland stay in tank mode... I'm with Walt tho, not huge on Noel...

As far as Celtics go, Shabazz, or a center

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
I don't see the potential with Noel, he's limited offensively, has a slim frame and he missed his entire sophomore year in HS with a fracture in the same knee he had the torn ACL. That Kings trade idea by Simmons is something they absolutely need to explore.

They've already stated they will explore all options. They've got the space to take on a bad contract or two. They will want a franchise player and a lottery pick next year.

Gotta feeling Gilbert is going to pressure Grant to make this team a contender all in one summer.

They have to trade that pick, or maybe just reach for Porter @ 1, Noel is a long long way off.

Offer the first and Varejao for Boogie and the Kings pick.

I believe Marion can be amnestied.

Nope, they used it on B. Haywood

The biggest problem with the Mavs is even if the cap is at 62 mil. They have to clear their whole roster use 5.3 mil in NBDL players. They would have to sign CP3 and Dwight at 16 a piece, Dirk is at 23 which equals 55 mil in just three players. :merchant: They would still have 1.7 mil to spend and sign a Full MLE deal for up to 5 mil.

If the cap is at 60 which is expected at min, Dwight and CP3 will have to take around 15-15.3 mil each. 30+23=53 will give Dallas enough room to fill the roster.

That's
CP3/filler
2nd rounder/filler
MLE/filler/filler
Dirk/filler/filler
Dwight/filler/filler
NBDL players bench

On top of that Dirk is regressing every year and is old and getting hurt often. His numbers are less than Al Horford and Horford is one of the top 15-20 players in the NBA right now.

Atlanta would have spend 25 mil with 9 players before we go to FA.
Al/Lou: 17.2
John: 1.25
Mike: .79
Mack: 884,293
Total: 20.00

Rookie cap capholds: below 4 mil
For the two 1sts 2,629,000 1st
Estimate Total: 24.00 mil
9 players on the roster.

If Dwight and CP3 takes 16 mil a piece 32+24=56 mil. Atlanta would still have 2 mil under the current 2012-13 cap.

If the cap is at 60 or 62. Atlanta could have up to 4-6 mil in capspace. Atlanta will still have enough to sign a player on the roster who is a FA like Kyle Korver and sign a MLE. :merchant:

CP3/dp/Mack
Jenkins/Lou/dp
Korver/MLE/dp
Horford/Scott
Dwight/dp/fa

Atlanta is loaded. :bustback: :stylin:

I think they already have the Kings next first :patrice:

The only real good out of this is it gave them a lot of options. They could Houdini the fukk outta that pick if they sell it right.

Even if they drafted Noel he'd just be an asset to them.
