great race, the disparity between the top teams and the pack is ridiculous tho. Vettel has never "raced" from behind like he did yesterday.All his performances have been a byproduct of good qualifying and race strategy. But last night he looked like micheal schumacher

Haven't watched an F1 race in awhile but that last one was dope. Rain races are 3x as good as dry IMO. Always fun except for my boy Lewis getting hit.

They decided in 2011 not to go through with those changes. They're pushed back to 2014.

They have rule tinkering from season to season to keep things fresh.So next year will be slightly different from this year

All that's happening is no "double" DRS which I believe only Mercedes and Lotus were using anyway, and teams can use an "insert" to counteract the stepped noses.

Bob Bell, who designed the Renault cars that Alonso drove when he won his two titles, is now the technical director at Mercedes. He joined in 2011, but must think that this years car was mostly the work of Loic Bigois (it makes sense. Bigois is the dude who came up with double diffuser Brawn GP car in 09, and this years car used a double DRS). So Bell might give him a good car like the ones Alonso had in '05 and '06, or he might come up with a dog like he developed in all the years after.

Funnily enough, Bigois left to become the lead aero dude at Ferrari earlier this year. Don't be surprised if Ferrari have some trick system next year.

They're all up against it, though. The only dude who designed cars better than Newey was Rory Byrne (he designed every car Schumi won a title in) but dude is now only a "consultant" and spends most of his time in Thailand fukking hookers.
