I dunno, where'd the 650,000 for AEW go?

Nobody is denying AEW is winning right now and handily. But just wait for the new car smell to wear off.

NXT has way more aces up their sleeve than AEW does.

Stay tuned.

Here's the thing that's fine with me... I actually like both shows and switch back and forth on Wednesday nights. I just see a lot of people on social media only talking about AEW''s loss of audience.

If it were up to me I'd prefer both shows doing RAW numbers.

I've said it before, I hope they both increase viewers. I love flipping back and forth, it's what made me love wrestling as a kid.

So what happened to those 300,000 viewers from the first week of NXT?

Viewership numbers are just the average number of viewers watching a station or a show in a typical minute, based on Nielsen households. If those families watched even a second of NXT during the first opposed show, they'd still be counted but they weren't.

AEW is a good product. their production is on par with WWE. they just need more story lines in order for the mainstream audience to stick around. however that won't keep some from twisting and bending the numbers over and over again in order to fit their agenda, but the reality is that AEW lost around 650,000 viewers in less than a month. explain that ...

NXT lost around 300,000 viewers yes, but they have remained more consistent than AEW without massive ratings drops. not to mention all they have to do is put a couple more big stars on the show and their ratings will bounce back / stay consistent with where they are right now.

AEW had a massive lead on them the first couple weeks, now that lead is only around 150,000 and they're a traveling / high production show being filmed in arenas.
