AEW and NXT haven't lost "the same amount"

AEW went from 1,400,000 to 760,000 in less than a month (45% loss of 640,000 viewers)

NXT went from 890,000 to 600,000 in less than a month (30% loss of 290,000 viewers)

it is what it is :yeshrug:

hopefully AEW can get creative and get creative quickly and bounce back up. they have to get some more story lines.

I agree and I’m a fan of AEW. Not saying they have to go full Russo, and they have had their moments with Cody/Jericho storyline but I wish the rest of the storylines would have an element of fukkery as well.

that's disingenuous because the initial NXT number was 1 hour unopposed.

So what happened to those 300,000 viewers from the first week of NXT?

Viewership numbers are just the average number of viewers watching a station or a show in a typical minute, based on Nielsen households. If those families watched even a second of NXT during the first opposed show, they'd still be counted but they weren't.
